PTO Committees

Communication, Marketing, and Merchandise: Kristen Guerin, Chair
This committee keeps the Echo Canyon community informed of PTO happenings and updates, helps to promote the school to the community and attract new families to Echo Canyon School. and manages Jaggy Swag.

​Events: Becky Burghart, Chair
The Events Committee is charged with planning events to support Echo Canyon School and the PTO. Events include Trunk-or -Treat, the Family Dance, Field Day, and Game Night. 

Fundraising: Jessica Scordo
​This committee organizes activities/events that have a fundraising element to them. Some of these activities/events include: Color Run, Read-A-Thon, Merchandise, monthly Dining for Dollars, Used Book Sale, and the Winter Holiday Gift Shop (not a student shopping experience). 

Membership and Outreach: Jessica Scordo, Chair
The Membership and Outreach Committee works to increase membership of the ECS PTO.

Teacher Engagement and Appreciation: Jayd Engstrom, Chair
This committee plans teacher and staff appreciation events throughout the year and keeps staff members engaged in ECS PTO happenings. It also organizes Classroom Parent Liaisons.

Exploration Friday: Caitlin Khoury, Chair
This committee schedules presenters and plans the Exploration Friday events which expose students to a variety of activities and careers.

Garden Support: Lou Rodarte, Chair
This committee keeps our campus gardens maintained and ensures they are incorporated into daily instruction.
