Exploration FridaySee the line up for December's Exploration Friday
Exploration Friday is one of the hallmarks of Echo Canyon's tradition of innovative and hands-on learning. Four times a year, all ECS students have the opportunity to participate in two 45-minute interactive exploratory classes during the school day. These classes are taught by community members, family, friends, and professionals with a passion for sharing their knowledge with children. Exploration Fridays have included taiko drumming, drama, songwriting, parkour, police robotics, forensics, veterinarian science, nursing, geo-caching, claymation, coding, architecture, city planning, dance, cooking, cultural celebrations, sports, fine arts and more. An ECS teacher is always present for each class. We are always looking for new presenters, planning team members, suggestions and help on the day of the event. Contact Valerie Ramos or Caitlin Khoury at [email protected] if you would like to help. |
